The Go Bored is gone!
About 2 pm ET today, we started getting 404 errors ("The page cannot be found") when we tried any links to the Bored. An hour later, the links were being redirected to a front page for the chosen stations, e.g . KTRK, with no trace of any of the old message forums. I'm afraid the last incarnation of the Go boards is gone.
It may take us a while to work out where our new home will be--the GC, Phoenix, Bob's TMF board, here, or somewhere else. Until we settle down, keep an eye on all of them and/or keep in touch by e-mail.
We're a special community and we will NOT let this be the end!

Thanks to Ed, I found my way over here from an unfamiliar computer that lacks my bookmarks. --Bob

Re: The Go Bored is gone!
I had the same 404 error. At first I wondered if it was the firewall at work (occasionally internet access goes down) but had no problem with other Internet sites.

Re: The Go Bored is gone!
I have another alternative which may work. I was searching through the newer Go boards and found one that hasn't been used in a couple years - the Million Dollar Babe board.
The advantage of this is that all our Go board logins still work and the format isn't too different than the old Go boards.
Have a look at this URL and see what you all think:

I found another way to access the above board in stripped down mode:
http://forums.go.com/disney/forum?start=0&forumID=127&byThread=true
Do people like that look any better?

Re: The Go Bored is gone!
I thought I had accidentally hit the banner at the top of the page. I had left it up and running when I left the house yesterday morning, so I hit Refresh when I got home. When the KTRK front page came up, I assumed I had mis-clicked." Sadly, when I went to my Bookmark, it confirmed that the Love Boat had sunk right out from under us.

Aren't you a bit young to have purple hair?ghostjmf wrote: OK I think beebs took the purple but I wanna share 'cause it kinda looks like me sometimes, hairwise
