To be fair, there is a way to turn that off (Help/Email Preferences). It's just that the sign-up process defaults to giving you their weekly newsletter and "special offers" and then makes you find the page that lets you disable those, instead of letting you opt out right at the start.

Oh. If this board isn't being hosted on your site, then where is it being hosted? I can't find any link that explains who the hosting site is.

I have no idea what they get from hosting this. There are no ads so what pays for it?

The BB software is open-source so I could install this on my own website and could even export everything from here to my own domain.

I am here. I like this format, but wish it had threaded view. I am sad that the old board is dying.

I'm here, also joined Bob of Many #'s Motley Fool board.

Have been a member of Yahoo's BAM boards for years - don't really care which the group chooses to finally call home, but I do believe we should settle on just one or the group will start splintering.

I must add that I really like this format best, love the emoticons which means I have less to remember and this site also have a Chat feature if I'm not mistaken:).

I came back from horrendous job "meeting" stuff I ain't gonna publically discuss (except that; oh never mind! this is still a public forum!) to find one board link disappeared & the other "front page only".

Someone wanna list the other sites that used to be besides KSFN (gone a week or so ago) & KTRK, gone so suddenly today? So we can check, from time to time? I have the others listed somewhere, but panicking while looking is not a good idea.
