The URL is www.wwtbambored.com

It
runs on the same software as the mega & slam boreds (don't know the
version currently). It looks like the grandslam bored for now, but will
be newly decorated soon.

The URL & DNS info is working its way around the internet, so if you don't get in at first, you will soon.

Bandwidth & storage are not anticipated as problems, but if problems arise, finding/purchasing more isn't seen as a problem.

I almost forgot to thank Jeff for stepping up to help out.

Other than the fact that you did, indeed, go to the trouble of setting this Bored up, why are you so committed to keeping this as the "official" bored?

Where did I say this should be the official Bored?

I posted a poll.

I said the members should decide.

I must say I don't like the idea of a Bored hosted by someone who is concealing his or her identity and who worked behind the scenes.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't like coups!

I gotta agree with Bobjuch. Mostly, I don't care for the secret balloting. If the breakdown of the votes were released publicly (and I mean who voted for what) and I missed it I apologize.

Until further I think I will just camp out here.

I actually like this site the best, too. I know I said I'd go anywhere, but I did express my opinion as far as aesthetics go.

With all I just said, guys, come over to the other one. We don't want to lose anyone. For whatever reason I think it will be "the bored". I appreciate your efforts, Bob. I don't think it's anything personal at all. Just the way of the world.

I just got home from being away since 12:30. It seems like the Bored have voted with their...ah...feet. I'll join them but will not be closing down this one.

Thanks, but just to clear things up, I have nothing to do with wwtbambored.com. There's some other mysterious benefactor behind that one.

I think that person should come forward, otherwise there really isn't any advantage to the new board. I thought the only objection to this board was reservations about MegaBB.

Plus, as Bob Juch has remarked, it's a v2 phpBB (like Grand Slam), so it has fewer features than this board.

Just my $0.02. Ultimately, this is up to the community.
