Rogah injured once again
Once again, Rogah, the Great Mercenary, leaves a game where he's getting beat up with an alleged injury. Whatta maroon! How much you want to bet that he keeps us in suspense right up to the last minute which hat he want to wear on his HoF plaque?
While I don't agree that Torre should be fired for losing this series (one heckuva job in the 2nd half of the season just to get there), he hasn't been real inciteful with his managing in it.
Can Cleveland make it a clean sweep, with all four series going 3-0? Stay tuned.

Re: Rogah injured once again
Of course ESPN will be there to praise ARod and Rogah if the Yankees finish off this game and come back and finish this series.
Re: Rogah injured once again
Oh yeah. The TBS announcers were obvious Yankee fans. Damon has a lead-off single, and then Jeter then hits into a double play, which wiped out "the threat". It's a bleepin' lead-off single! Get two men on base before you talk about threats, moron!
Throughout Rogah's career, whenever he's had a particularly bad outing, or a series of them, it's always been because of an injury. Fine. Then why didn't you mention it to the manager, instead of trying to pump up your own statistics and blowing a game or two for your teammates? Same reason I was never very much a fan of Wade Boggs, either. Too much "me" and not enough "team".
Lucky for the Yankees that Torre finally decided to manage and yank Rogah. Francona should take notes if Schilling or Dice-K start throwing batting practice out there.
