Asked to name the [Angels] pitcher he'd summon for Ortiz duty, Angels pitching coach Mike Butcher paused for a moment and said, "I think Koufax would get him out."
No telling what'll happen in a short series. As a lifelong Red Sox fan, I worry. (There wasn't a true Red Sox fan in that last World Series game in 2004 who wasn't absolutely sure, for about three seconds, that somehow, the ball would get stuck in Foulke's glove, the runner would be safe, and the Cards would stage a comeback and win the next three games to boot.)
